Run by an owner who inspects every unit himself.
Steve Mickley started Micco Group after 30+ years on the buy/sell side of the equipment business at Stewart & Stevenson and Briggs Equipment — decades spent building relationships across the equipment world before deciding to go independent and do it his own way.
His philosophy is simple: “We don’t sell forklifts. We sell ourselves.” Every unit he represents gets personally inspected, engine hours get verified through a diagnostic hookup instead of a meter that can be rolled back, and if something doesn’t meet the bar, it doesn’t get sold — even to a buyer who still wants it.
Micco isn’t the cheapest quote out there, and it won’t be the highest either — the equipment’s true condition stays front and center, and the price reflects it.
If you buy from us a second time, that means we're doing our job.
Not just a claim — a standard
He inspects every unit himself
"See the truck in person before you buy it." No unit goes on the lot without Steve inspecting it first.
Real engine hours, not the dash meter
Hours are verified through a diagnostic hookup, because odometers can be rolled back — most dealers won’t bother checking.
Same-day yard visits
"I will be at their yard the same day I talked to them." Site surveys catch things a walkthrough alone would miss.
Won't sell what he wouldn't buy
If a unit doesn’t meet the bar, it doesn’t get sold — even to a buyer who still wants it.
Deliberately small, on purpose
Micco doesn't run an in-house parts department, service shop, or rental fleet. That's a real trade-off, and we don't hide it — we'd rather focus on sourcing and representing equipment honestly than try to be everything to everyone. When you need parts, service, or a rental, we'll point you to people we trust.
What that focus buys you: someone who actually knows the truck he's selling you, because he's the one who found it, inspected it, and stood behind it.
